Job Description

Clinical Assisting: Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during restorative, cosmetic, and general dental procedures.
Patient Care: Prepare patients for treatment, take vital signs, and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.
Sterilization: Maintain a sterile clinical environment by strictly adhering to OSHA and infection control protocols for room turnover and instrument processing.
Diagnostics: Capture high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral images as directed.
Laboratory: Pour and trim dental models and manage laboratory cases to ensure timely delivery of prosthetics.
Records: Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation within Dentrix.
Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure a seamless office flow and exceptional patient service.

Salary Range

Full-time $18 - $23 per hour

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Requirements

Certification: Current state registration or certification as a Dental Assistant (RDA/CDA).
Radiography: Active license or certification to take dental X-rays.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Dentrix dental practice management software.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain procedures and post-operative instructions to patients clearly.
Reliability: A consistent work ethic and commitment to the scheduled clinical hours.

Preferences

Experience: Previous experience in a family or cosmetic dentistry setting is preferred.
Expanded Functions: Certification in Expanded Functions (EFDA) is a significant plus.
Proactive Mindset: Ability to anticipate the dentist's needs and manage clinical inventory effectively.
