JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Escrow Support Processor is an escrow professional responsible for ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency across key stages of the residential escrow transaction lifecycle. The role serves as a subject matter resource, applying sound judgment to resolve issues, support compliance requirements, and enable timely closings.
The Senior Escrow Support Processor is a key contributor responsible for centralized processing and review of documents supporting the initiation and closing of residential escrow transactions.
Additional information: this role will focus on handling postclosing activities, including postclose audits, issue resolution, and followup actions, ensuring files are completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Escrow Processing & File Ownership
Own and manage assigned escrow files through key transaction milestones, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and readiness for closing.
Review and prepare settlementrelated documentation, identifying discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution prior to closing.
Exercise sound judgment in evaluating file conditions, resolving complex issues, and escalating risks when appropriate.
Ensure escrow documentation aligns with contractual terms, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
Quality, Risk & Compliance
Maintain high quality and accuracy standards while identifying potential risks or errors
Apply knowledge of escrow practices and state requirements to support compliant file resolution
Identify and resolve escalated risks or discrepancies
Support quality initiatives and trend identification
Operational Support
Act as a subject matter expert for escrow support activities, providing guidance and support to peers and partner teams.
Assist with onboarding, knowledge sharing, and informal coaching to promote consistency and best practices.
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve issues, align expectations, and communicate status updates.
Process Consistency & Continuous Improvement
Follow standard procedures to ensure consistent execution across files and markets
Provide feedback on workflows, tools, and operational challenges to support process enhancements and standardization.
Participate in initiatives focused on improving efficiency, quality, and scalability of escrow support operations.
Additional Information - PostClosing Support
Prepare and deliver accurate Pre-Settlement Statements (PSS) within established SLAs
Perform detailed pre-close audits to ensure file readiness and compliance
Coordinate and manage commitment and CPL delivery
Review and resolve discrepancies (taxes, HOA, commissions, fees)
Manage revisions based on feedback
Ensure files are fully prepared for closing
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPEREINCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
4+ years in title and escrow operations
Experience with settlement statements/CDs
Centralized/high-volume experience preferred
Multi-state experience preferred
Knowledge of escrow process, preparing commitments, CPLs, prorations
Proficiency in escrow and title systems (e.g., SoftPro or similar)
Strong analytical skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
High attention to detail with sound judgment and problemsolving ability
Exhibits exceptional time management and prioritization skills to efficiently meet deadlines and optimize task workflows
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
Strong ownership and accountability for work outcomes
Effective communication skills are essential for liaising with stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise
Demonstrates strong collaboration skills, partnering effectively across teams and stakeholders to support consistent outcomes
