Compensation

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic planning, acquisition, and disposition of land parcels for residential and mixeduse development across the United States.
  • Oversee all phases of land development, including due diligence, feasibility analysis, entitlement acquisition, and permitting.
  • Negotiate and structure complex land purchase agreements, jointventure partnerships, and other contractual arrangements.
  • Direct entitlement processes, working closely with local governments, planning agencies, and community stakeholders to secure approvals.
  • Coordinate civil engineering, zoning, and environmental teams to ensure timely and costeffective project delivery.
  • Develop and manage multiyear land acquisition budgets, forecasting, and financial models to support corporate growth targets.
  • Present acquisition strategies, market analyses, and project updates to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including developers, landowners, HOA managers, and municipal officials.
  • Mentor, recruit, and develop a highperforming acquisition team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Lennars mortgage, title, and closing divisions to streamline the endtoend home buying experience.
Essential Qualifications
  • Proven executive leadership experience in land acquisition, development, or real estate investment.
  • Deep knowledge of land development processes: due diligence, entitlement, feasibility analysis, and permit acquisition.
  • Exceptional contract negotiation and jointventure management skills.
  • Strong understanding of residential real estate market dynamics and community development trends.
  • Ability to lead crossfunctional teams, including civil engineering, finance, legal, and construction.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder presentation abilities, with experience addressing public officials and community groups.
  • Strategic thinking combined with handson execution capability.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to Lennars mission of making homeownership attainable.
Desired Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in land acquisition or development, preferably within a large homebuilder or realestate investment firm.
  • Track record of successfully delivering multimilliondollar land acquisitions and navigating complex entitlement processes.
  • Experience managing large budgets and financial models for land portfolios.
  • Background in civil engineering coordination or strong working relationships with civil engineering teams.
  • Experience with HOA management and communitylevel stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent in a fastgrowth environment.
Education

Educational qualifications are not specified; however, a bachelors degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field is typically preferred. Advanced degrees (MBA, MRED) are a plus.
