Job Title: Maintenance Electrical Engineer
Location: Waukesha, WI
Job Summary:
Seeking a Maintenance Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of manufacturing experience in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical systems and automated equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, RSLogix/Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, HMI programming, LabVIEW, and electrical controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment, PLCs, HMIs, and electrical control systems.
- Support Allen-Bradley PLC programming (RSLogix 5/500/5000, Studio 5000) and FactoryTalk applications.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve equipment downtime.
- Support electrical testing, hardware integration, and system validation.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation drawings.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance/troubleshooting experience.
- Allen-Bradley PLCs, RSLogix 5/500/5000, Studio 5000.
- FactoryTalk View ME/SE, HMI programming.
- NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand.
- Visual Basic (VB6/VB Studio), SQL.
- Electrical controls, hardware integration, wiring diagrams, and electrical testing.
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance.
- Experience with Engineered-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
