JOB SUMMARY:
This position supports and assists the Events Department. Duties include generating revenue, planning of events and delivering exceptional client service. Candidate to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive business growth and elevate the event experience. Ideal candidate will excel in managing event software, coordinating event logistical details and providing support for various types of events. Strong client relationship-building skills, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring positive event execution is essential. Position entails some flexibility to working some nights, holidays, weekends and gamedays, as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive revenue growth through new lead generation, recapturing past business, networking and strategic marketing efforts.
  • Plan, manage and execute hospitality efforts for large-scale campus-wide events as needed (e.g. NFL Draft, College Football, Soccer, Concerts, etc.).
  • Manage gameday activations inside of the Johnsonville Tailgate Village.
  • Execute outbound sales initiatives to support and expand the events department.
  • Proactively pursue new business opportunities in the events industry.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of clients through active community networking.
  • Market and sell event spaces at Lambeau Field and Titletown to prospective clients.
  • Present and pitch event packages to potential clients, highlighting the unique benefits of our event services.
  • Conduct in-depth conversations with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
  • Prepare and manage contracts, billing, and process payments for events.
  • Update and manage Momentus software to accurately reflect event reservations and bookings.
  • Provide informative tours of event spaces to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the event sales team to achieve revenue goals and meet sales targets.
  • Represent the Green Bay Packers and Lambeau Field + Titletown at Trade Shows and community events to enhance brand visibility and engage potential clients.
  • Coordinate with internal business units to ensure seamless event operations.
  • Advocate for atrium business units during the selling process.
  • Perform additional duties, as requested, to support the Events team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in event planning, sales or a similar role.
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity with event planning software and tools.
  • Excellent expressive and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to identify and navigate workflow issues.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for periods of time.
  • Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
