Job description

Job Title: Teamcenter Architect
Location: Santa Clara, CA – Onsite Only
Employment Type: Contract – C2C

Note: This role requires 5 days onsite in Santa Clara. No remote or hybrid option.

 

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter PLM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Siemens Teamcenter solutions. You will drive architecture decisions, integrate PLM with enterprise systems, and ensure best practices across the product lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end Teamcenter solutions including BMIDE, workflows, ITK/RAC customization
  • Lead PLM strategy, data model design, and integration with ERP, CAD, MES systems
  • Define governance, security models, and upgrade roadmaps for Teamcenter
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable PLM solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor Teamcenter developers/admins
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize system performance

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on Teamcenter experience with 3+ years in Architect role
  • Deep expertise in Teamcenter Unified, BMIDE, Active Workspace, ITK, SOA, and RAC customization
  • Strong integration experience: CAD NX, Creo, SolidWorks, ERP SAP, Oracle, and other enterprise apps
  • Proven experience with Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, and multi-site deployments
  • Solid understanding of PLM processes: BOM, Change Management, Document Management, Manufacturing

Nice to Have

  • Siemens Teamcenter certifications
  • Experience with AWS/Cloud PLM deployments
  • Knowledge of Mendix, Polarion, or other Siemens Xcelerator portfolio tools
