Job description

Job Role – DevOps Architect

Location – Easton, Pennsylvania (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)

Full Time role or Contract to hire

Rate - $70-80/hr

Salary - $130k/yr base + 10% bonus + 7% bonus

Experience Required- 10+ years 

Job Description:

  • Provide architectural leadership and hands-on expertise in designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment processes.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Design and manage scalable, secure and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure (AWS), ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and best practices.
  • Work closely with developers, QA teams and business stakeholders to define and enable efficient deployment strategies and delivery pipelines.
  • Lead the adoption and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or similar to ensure consistent and repeatable environments.
  • Architect and manage containerization and orchestration solutions, including Docker and Kubernetes, across distributed environments.
  • Oversee the design and maintenance of multi-environment strategies (Dev, QA, UAT, Production), ensuring consistency, governance and smooth release management
  • Define and implement observability frameworks, including monitoring, logging, and alerting, to ensure high availability and system reliability.
  • Lead incident management and root cause analysis (RCA) efforts, driving continuous improvement and system resilience.
  • Establish and enforce DevSecOps practices, integrating security controls, compliance checks, and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across DevOps processes, tools, and practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.

Possess a Good understanding of application ecosystems from a DevOps perspective, including:
