JOB SUMMARY
LIVIC Civil is looking for a diligent and independent individual to fill a full-time position for an Accounting Generalist. The candidate should be flexible and able to adapt to changing activities and workloads. The position is critical due to working closely with the Accounting Executive. The Accounting Generalist will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the work flow within the different branches of Civil Engineering we offer at LIVIC.
As LIVIC continues to grow, we are always in search of fresh talent, so feel free to reach out even if you don't quite match the position requirements. As of now, we employ multiple engineers specializing in Land Development, Traffic and Transportation, and Municipal. In addition, but not limited to, we have drafting professionals, landscape architects, a utility coordinator, a construction manager, GIS Generalist, and Survey Crew. We have a diverse staff in terms of work experience and area of expertise. Generally, if you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach you. Essential job functions could include:
  • Understands knowledge of organizational procedures, federal and state regulations, and accounting standards
  • Review weekly time and expense entries to ensure compliance with FAR OH Accounting Procedures
  • Prepare, Scan, and enter invoices into accounting software for approval.
  • Code, Process, and reconcile company credit cards, verify subcontractor invoices with contracts
  • Process daily bank deposits
  • Support the accounting department and coordinate between external accounting business partners
  • Follow up with teams / colleagues / vendors on outstanding information / materials as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration
    • 0-5 years of related experience preferred
    • Quickbooks or similar accounting software experience
    • Experience in the engineering industry, and BQE Core Software experience is a plus
