Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Gallery Sales Associate to join our Area of Tourism team located at the Exhibit C working 10:00AM-6:00PM - Su Mo Th Fr Sa.
Summary:
Responsibilities:
* Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
- Determines needs and seeks positive experiences and outcomes
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
* Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
* Greets gallery visitors, provides detailed information about exhibitions, artwork and answer questions
* Engages with visitors for the purpose of sales, following up as needed
* Provides support during gallery exhibitions, programming, events and tours
* Services groups visiting the facility according to Management direction
* Answers customer questions and leads visitors to items of interest for sale in the gallery
* Counts and signs for cash bank to be used on assigned shift
* Rings up purchase items on cash register, accepts credit card or cash, and counts out change when required, including gift card transactions as needed
* Participate in quarterly inventory, stocks retail shelves and maintains cleanliness of work area
* Maintains log of consignment sales conducted on assigned shift to be given to Management for inventory purposes
* Counts down credit card receipts, cash received, and balances cash drawer on assigned shift
* Runs daily sales reports for accounting
* Ensures that interior and exterior spaces of the gallery are neat and clean at all times including the entryway and restrooms resulting in a positive first impression of the Chickasaw Nation
* Maintains the appearance of the gallery, ensuring artworks and displays are presented professionally and attractively
* Assists with exhibition installations, artwork placements and transitions
* Maintains knowledge of the gallery's artists and inventory to provide informed recommendations
* Performs all other duties as assigned
