Job description

Job Description:

  • Performs property management activities including but not limited to receiving, posting, issue, disposal, and any other life cycle sustainment activities in support of the task order.
  • Performs data cleanse, analysis, reconciliation, and stock record maintenance in the assigned Accountability Property System of Record (APSR)GCSS-Army and other systems such as DST and LMP.
  • Prepares DD Form 1348, DA Form 3161, DA Form 3318, DA Form 2062, DA Form 2407, DA Form 2404, Missing Parts Notifications, Notifications of Non-Fair Wear and Tear damage, Trip Reports, and shipping paperwork (DHS/FEDEX, USPS, DD 1149, US Customs Declaration, Etc.) IAW instructions received from supervisory personnel.
  • Ensures security requirements for the storage, issue and/or shipment and transport of COMSEC and Sensitive Items are adhered to.
  • Prepares equipment for onward movement IAW instructions received from supervisory personnel. Operates GMV, NSCV, ATV, Bobcat, MHE, and/or commercial vehicles in the conduct of daily duties and assignments and may be required to perform routine operator maintenance on the same.
  • Prepares reports, maintains files, conduct briefings, and supervise personnel engaged in complex logistic and maintenance support functions associated with the transport, storage, turn-in, issue and/or direct exchange of military equipment to/from remote locations.
  • Coordinates for the shipment and tracking in transit of replacement Spare Pool and SOF Peculiar Equipment (SOF-P) for CJSOTF from CONUS.
  • Conducts inventories of component items to major end items ensuring all recoverable/non-expendable items are physically present or otherwise accounted for prior to accepting the item for turn in from the user.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect supporting documentation and equipment for turn-in.
  • Process NME equipment into DST upon receipt of items and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct pack, wrap, and ship of inventory via STO/SO.
  • Sustain stocks onsite in inventory MGNT Tool until follow-on movement.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and documentation inspections.
  • Transition to theater LMP/RPAT sites after pack, wrap, and ship of inventory via STO/SO.
  • Conduct physical inventories and adjust and/or maintain inventory, stock, plant, or property account records.
  • Receive and screen lists or other documents specifying supplies or materials needed for planned programs or work operations and collate and assemble lists of equipment and parts needed for acquisition plans.
  • Initiate, prepare, edit, and process requisitions to stock, commodity control, or other ap- propriate supply organizations. Search catalogs, records, or other data sources to obtain or correct stock numbers or to find authorized substitutes for stock items.

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Experience with Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A) is preferred with a thorough and complete understanding of manual unit supply procedures.
  • Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license, and be able to obtain, where required, the appropriate special license/certification for equipment to be operated to include but not limited to forklifts of varying size and configuration, NSCV’s, Bobcats, ATV’s, GMV’s, and 15K trucks. 
  • Possess excellent work ethics, verbal and written communication skills and be detailed and accurate in performing all administrative and routine functions. 
  • Be able to work in an environment that is fast paced while completing multiple tasks and meeting stringent timelines, to include ability to work independently without direct supervision. 
  • Be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary, such as correspondence using the Army Writing System in accordance with AR 25-50. 
  • Able to enter data into multiple databases or spreadsheets. Ensure consistency and appropriate cross-referencing for both newly entered and previously entered data. Retrieve data and use data to respond to a variety of Customer and vendor inquiries. Perform research to determine reasons for patterns of transaction errors and failures. 
  • Able to conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns; assemble retrieved information into different formats to meet different requirements; for example, status reports, unmet Customer needs, and other similar areas. 
  • Maintain files in accordance with applicable Army, Navy, and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations. 
  • Proficiently use MS Office application software to maintain data and submit reports of varying types and formats via internal management control databases, spreadsheets, and other reporting tools in a variety of program application software. 
  • Be willing to attend and satisfactorily complete, required training associated with job responsibilities. 
  • Crosstrain with other contracted positions to fill in during absences (specific to exempt/salaried positions.

  • Meet CENTCOM Current deployment health standard. All new hires will process through the CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) at Fort Bliss, TX and be approved for deployment to include received required USG issued PPE. 
  • Be capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 40 lbs. unassisted.
