What will I be doing most days?
- Carrying out planned maintenance to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Pinpointing the root cause of mechanical faults and resolving them efficiently.
- Inspecting equipment for performance, safety, and reliability.
- Partnering with production teams to improve throughput and reduce waste.
- Recording all work performed, parts used, and observations in maintenance systems.
- Practicing safety-first, including consistent LOTO and adherence to site protocols.
- Helping install, align, wire, and commission new machinery and upgrades.
What background helps me succeed?
- High school diploma or equivalent; a related technical certificate or degree is a plus.
- Experience in industrial maintenance, electro-mechanical repair, or a similar craft.
- Solid grasp of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles.
- Ability to interpret manuals, drawings, and electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Proven troubleshooting mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
- Team-oriented communicator with a collaborative approach.
- Willing to support flexible scheduling and overtime when needed.
