June 2026 we will also be opening a new DC in Jefferson City, TN. (Transportation and Warehouse are the two largest departments at each DC and typically operate 24/7.) Responsible for financial and operational objectives set forth for the Company. This position requires travel as needed and is based out of the Lordstown, Ohio Corporate headquarters.

How you will make contributions that matter:
- Leads the General Manager(s) to direct and lead the development and implementation of short and long term strategic/business plans in support of Company objectives relative to revenue growth, profitability, cost improvement and customer service of assigned Distribution Center(s).
- Develops and maintains external high-level business (and customer) relationships, including participation in relevant trade and associate meetings, regular meetings and conferences with customers and other relevant activities to ensure constructive customer relationships and the maintenance of the Company’s continued good standing.
- Takes the lead position for third-party customer interface and relationship.
- Is the leader of all Corporate Administrative Operations Department Leaders (Customer Service, Assured Supply, Maintenance).
- Is responsible for ensuring consistent fleet and maintenance programs companywide are in place and are satisfying business needs in all aspects. Has ownership of the fleet and maintenance programs companywide.
- Reviews, analyzes and approves annual operating plans for each entity, including all financial measures, customer service objectives and related organizational goals/objectives, including KPI’s, organization and employee development/employee relations strategies.
- Reviews performance against plans, directs development of corrective action strategies and provides performance feedback to direct reports regarding same.
- Establishes and/or maintains a competitive position with product quality, food safety and cost, while ensuring a safe work environment for associates.
- Identifies and assists in assessing new business ventures that broaden capabilities, technologies and markets served.
- Manages assigned staff, including evaluating performance, and building a motivated, effective team to ensure that organizational goals for productivity, efficiency, and delivery experience.
- Determines appropriate financial resource needs, including budget preparation, business plans, quarterly financial and operations presentations, annual re-costing meetings, equipment lease negotiations, and major capital purchases, interacting with customers and management to meet or exceed established performance and profitability objectives.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the owner or key customer contacts.
What You'll Bring:
Education – bachelor’s degree in business administration or Logistics Management preferred. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience – Ten or more years of management/leadership experience in various distribution functions (i.e. Transportation, Warehousing, Customer Service, etc.)
Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, vendors, customers, and/or the public.
Mathematical Skills – Demonstrated extensive understanding of quantitative information, paying particular attention to cost, expenses and revenue. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability – Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Required Skills or Abilities – Knowledge of DOT rules and FMCSA guidelines, OSHA regulations, customer service, recruiting/interviewing/staffing, technical skills (including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point), engineered labor standards and systems, voice selection technology (Lucas), JD Edwards, managerial/leadership skills, developing and executing budgets and cost controls, safety management, process management, inventory control, analyzing information, equipment and facility maintenance.
