  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking merchandise.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Job Title: Retail Associate

Department: Retail/Turf

Reports to: Location

Summary: This position is responsible for supporting daily Turf Center operations, including assisting customers, stocking and organizing merchandise, processing local deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness and order in both the retail store and warehouse. Duties also include loading and unloading products, receiving inventory, and ensuring materials are properly stored and accessible. This is an entry-level role, and on-the-job training will be provided for all required tasks.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Supports Ag Plus’s stated Vision, Mission, and Business Values.
  • Projects a positive attitude and provides outstanding customer service to customers and fellow employees.
  • Reads, understands, and follows company policies and procedures.
  • Completes required safety reports and other required records.
  • Follows all company safety policies, procedures, and established safety programs.
  • Keeps the Branch Manager informed of operational, customer, vendor, or employee issues that arise.
  • Promotes Ag Plus products and services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Assists customers with product selection, purchases, and loading of merchandise.
  • Loads and unloads customer purchases, inbound inventory, and deliveries.
  • Stocks shelves, maintains product displays, and organizes inventory.
  • Receives, stores, and maintains inventory in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Makes local deliveries using company vehicles, as assigned.
  • Operates forklifts and other equipment safely (training provided).
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe retail store, warehouse, and outdoor work areas.
  • Assists other departments during peak seasons, as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
