Ghost RX is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with hands-on Lu-177 Pluvicto experience for a permanent, full-time assignment at the VA Portland Health Care System (VAPORHCS) in Portland, Oregon - a Complexity Level 1a VA facility serving veterans across Oregon and Southwest Washington, with a main medical center in Portland, satellite operations in Vancouver, WA, and 10 Community-Based Outpatient Clinics. As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and trusted federal staffing partner, Ghost RX offers nuclear medicine professionals the rare combination of a predictable Monday-Friday day schedule - no nights, no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call - plus the deep professional satisfaction of caring for those who served.
In this role, you will perform the full scope of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, with a strong emphasis on radioligand therapy (theranostics) including Lu-177 Pluvicto (lutetium-177 vipivotide tetraxetan) infusions for veterans with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). You will operate the site's Siemens SPECT/CT and Philips PET/CT systems for diagnostic fusion imaging, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, conduct daily quality control on cameras and instrumentation, and maintain strict compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Department of Transportation (DOT), USP <825>, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards. Position start date is August.
Portland, Oregon offers exceptional quality of life - easy access to the Pacific Coast, the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood, world-class food and coffee scenes, no state sales tax, and a vibrant medical community anchored by OHSU. Ghost RX provides end-to-end federal credentialing support, comprehensive benefits, paid federal holidays, paid time off, and a dedicated recruiter who walks you through every step of onboarding. If you are an ARRT(N)- or NMTCB-certified technologist with proven Lu-177 Pluvicto experience and a passion for advancing veteran care, we want to hear from you. Veterans and military spouses are strongly encouraged to apply (VEVRAA-protected).
