Summary: HII Mission Technologies is seeking a detail‑oriented Systems Drafter to support the development and enhancement of NAWDC’s Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) training infrastructure, working onsite at Naval Air Station Fallon, NV. In this role, you will create, update, and maintain technical drawings, network diagrams, and system schematics that support the integration of complex military training and simulation systems. This position is ideal for someone with strong Visio skills, experience producing technical documentation, and the ability to translate engineering input into clear, accurate visual schematics.

What You Will Do: Technical Drafting & Documentation Develop and maintain technical data packages for networked systems including JWICS, CNET, CV2, and ISE networks. Create detailed system schematics, network diagrams, and technical drawings supporting simulators such as F‑18, E‑2D, F‑35, and Aegis. Produce diagrams showing physical and logical system relationships, infrastructure connections, and ancillary building interfaces.

Use Visio daily to generate, refine, and version‑control technical drawings. Systems Integration Support Work closely with engineers and integration teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect system functionality and design intent. Apply logic‑driven drafting practices to ensure diagrams are technically precise and compliant with project requirements.

Update documentation as systems evolve, ensuring accuracy across all LVC components. Collaboration & Compliance Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support system integration and configuration management. Maintain strict adherence to security protocols when handling classified or sensitive documentation.

Work onsite full‑time at NAWDC in Fallon, NV. What We're Looking For: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Visio experience in a drafting, documentation, or design‑support role.

Strong proficiency in technical drafting methodologies, including system diagrams, network schematics, and engineering documentation. Ability to work onsite and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Active SECRET clearance required.
