Summary:
The Financial Analyst I role supports financial planning and analysis by gathering data, creating reports, and helping forecast business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and review financial data (expenses, revenue, budgets).
- Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Assist with forecasting and basic financial models.
- Research economic trends (inflation, interest rates, etc.).
- Identify basic trends and explain findings. Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
- Ensure financial data is accurate and complete.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar required, working toward Masters a plus.
- 1+ year of experience (or strong internship experience).
- Basic Excel skills (formulas, tables, data analysis).
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., Infor) a plus.
- Basic familiarity with Power BI or Tableau a plus.
- Understanding of finance/accounting concepts (GAAP fundamentals).
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Good communication skills.
