Job description

Citadel Roofing and Construction is seeking a Sales Manager for our Indianapolis location to begin immediately. The manager is responsible for building a strong door-to-door sales team, assisting homeowners with home improvement needs. This role involves developing effective sales strategies, leading and motivating the team, maintaining strong customer relationships, and regularly communicating with upper management. The position requires candidate to hold a valid drivers license with a good driving record and must submit to a criminal background check.

Pay will begin with a $1000/week guaranteed minimum as part of a generous commission and bonus structure.

Responsibilites:

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Recruit, lead and coach a sales team
  • Manage customer relationships to maximize satisfaction and referrals
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback
  • Deliver training and development to staff to enhance skills and productivity
  • Participate in regular weekly meetings with upper management
  • Conduct regional and local travel as required to support branch operations

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years roofing or exterior-construction sales experience; 1+ year in a supervisory/managerial role preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong estimating and proposal-writing skills; familiarity with industry estimating software a plus.
  • Experience working with insurance claims and adjusters preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, truck or SUV preferred; willingness to work in the field and attend evenings/weekend appointments as needed.
