???? Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with the City of Redmond to hire a Parks & Cemetery Maintenance Worker I to support the maintenance and upkeep of city parks, cemetery grounds, landscaping, irrigation systems, playgrounds, and public facilities.

This is an excellent seasonal opportunity for individuals who enjoy outdoor work, grounds maintenance, landscaping, equipment operation, and facilities maintenance while contributing to the appearance and functionality of the City of Redmond's community spaces.

???? Responsibilities

• Maintain parks, landscaped areas, cemetery grounds, playgrounds, and public spaces
• Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance activities
• Inspect, maintain, and assist with irrigation system operation and repairs
• Perform basic facilities maintenance, including painting, plumbing, and general repairs
• Operate city vehicles and equipment, including trucks, mowers, and backhoes
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of city-owned properties
• Follow established safety procedures and operating guidelines
• Support daily maintenance projects and departmental operations as assigned

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience
• Valid Oregon driver's license
• Comfortable operating and driving City of Redmond vehicles
