Position Details

Role: Experienced Veterinary Technician
Status: Full-time
Salary: $22 per hour
Schedule:  Tuesday 12 pm - 8 pm, Wednesday 8 am - 5 pm, Thursday 12 pm - 8 pm, Friday 8 am - 5 pm, Saturday 8 am- 1 pm alternating

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

  • Triage patients and obtain complete medical histories, vital signs, and patient assessments
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, and medical procedures
  • Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care throughout each patient's visit
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and diagnostic sample collection
  • Obtain high-quality digital radiographs while following radiation safety protocols
  • Perform in-house laboratory testing, including CBCs, chemistry panels, urinalysis, and cytology
  • Educate clients on preventive care, treatments, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with the veterinary team
  • Help create an exceptional experience for every client and patient
