We're committed to serving our community with high-quality construction and landscape materials-and we're currently looking for a skilled Equipment Operator (Loader & Excavator) to join our team at Stony Point Rock Quarry, our quarry and aggregate recycling facility located in Cotati, California.

What You'll Do & What We're Looking For
As an Equipment Operator at Stony Point Rock Quarry, you will play a critical role in keeping production running smoothly by safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment-specifically front-end wheel loaders, mid-sized excavators, as well as other machinery-for material handling, site maintenance, and overall site operations.
This position requires a recent, proven track record of hands-on experience operating heavy equipment in a production environment such as mining, quarrying, or construction. You must be proficient in all of the following equipment types:
  • Wheel Loader (CAT 972 or larger): 3+ years of recent experience (within the past 5 years)
  • Excavator (CAT 330 or larger): 3+ years of recent experience (within the past 5 years)

Please note: Experience with other equipment types (e.g., forklifts, skid steers, cranes, or smaller light equipment does not meet the minimum qualifications for this role.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Mining, transporting, stockpiling, and sorting materials
  • Performing routine equipment inspections and minor maintenance (pre- and post-operation)
  • Assisting with plant and yard maintenance, including basic repairs
  • Supporting a safe, clean, and productive work environment

Work Schedule
This is a full time, on-site position at Stony Point Rock Quarry:
  • Location: 7171 Stony Point Road, Cotati, CA
  • Classification: Hourly, non-exempt
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, starting at 6:00 AM
  • Shift: 8 hours per day, with some overtime and occasional Saturday work as needed
  • Pay range: $27 - $31/hour.

  • Proven track record of safe and competent operation of the required equipment.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
