Job description

Do you enjoy making connections with and helping local business grow? Do you want a job that utilizes your CDL license, is a Mon-Fri route that has you home every night, and helps keeps you fit? Then this job is for you! Can start in one position and potentially move to another when available!

$1,500 New Hire Sign-on bonuses: (if no CDL at hire, the bonus clock starts with CDL date, and to be eligible for the quarterly bonus must have CDL for and worked the entire quarter)

Our Norwalk location has several routes to choose from with the route(s) we are currently hiring for the highlighted jobs below. When routes come available, current team members are typically asked if they want that route before posting, so if there is another route you are interested but you are willing to start with this route, being on the team increases your chance to the route you want.

Daytime 5am Route: Typical days starts in our Norwalk, IA, lot around 5am with end times in the afternoon with varying times depending on the order volume. This a Monday – Friday route that will run 4 or 5 days per week. Route drivers start the morning picking up the packed trailer and follow the delivery route given. At each stop, there will be some building of the loads to take in to the customer which requires attention to detail in reading and scanning delivery tickets, finding products and building dolly loads, working with the customer on where to place their products, getting required signatures, and developing relationships with these repeat customers. Friday morning route starts a 1am

(not currently open) Key Account 12am Route (3 days per week) (Pays ad'l $1.50/hr premium pay): This is an excellent job for someone who likes night hours but still wants a schedule that gives you home time with the family! Work 3 days per week (Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday) averaging approximately 11 hours per day. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. This position leaves our Norwalk, IA, lot at midnight and travels to Cedar Falls and Davenport where it will make deliveries at just two locations. The deliveries are primarily all ramp work where the products are unloaded utilizing a two-wheel cart off the back of the truck.

(not currently open) Key Account 2am Route (4 days per week) (Pays ad'l $2/hr premium pay): This route starts at 2am and runs 4 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Routes average 8-11 hours per day with a weekly average of 40 hours per week. This position leaves our Norwalk, IA, lot and delivers primarily in the greater Des Moines area. The deliveries are primarily all ramp work where the products are unloaded utilizing a two-wheel cart off the back of the truck.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs

Driver Requirements:

  • 18 years old
  • Ability to train and obtain CDL within 3 months
  • Have a good driving record
