Night Shift Warehouse Associate

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
  • Utilize the necessary pick sheet to select the product.
  • Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
  • Operate pallet jack to remove the case(s) of product from storage rack.
  • Adhere to proper safety practices for truck and trailer pull process daily.
  • Responsible for reporting all safety concerns in the work environment on a timely basis.
  • Moves orders to loading dock to prepare for shipping.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Must maintain product integrity with proper handling & report damage to management immediately.

Physical Demands:

Frequent walking, kneeling, standing, squatting, bending, reaching overhead, and lifting 50+ lbs.

Environment:

  • Warehouse : Freezer (-20F to 0F)
  • Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (32F to 60F)
  • Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage time in a fast-paced industry
  • Candidates must be reliable, responsible, and punctual, with a positive attitude and work well independently and with a team
  • Minimum 1-year experience distribution warehouse required
  • Minimum 1-year experience using ride on pallet jack required
  • Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
