Job description

The Premier Group is currently looking for Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team to work on a project in Topeka, KS If you are looking for a new opportunity with a great company that values their employees, pays competitively, offers health benefits on day one, and paid time off then look no further!

Responsibilities of an Electrician:

  • Running Conduit, MC & Romex, Pulling Wire, Setting Panels, Terminations, Switches, Lighting Fixtures, Cable Trays, Bending Pipe, Underground, Troubleshooting, etc.
  • Read blueprints and wiring schematics
  • Verify compliance and functionality of installations
  • Maintain workflow schedule to ensure productivity objectives are met
  • Coordinate with other trades on site
  • Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean workspace
  • Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites

Requirements of the Electrician:

  • Must be familiar with updated NEC codes
  • Must have Journeyman License (Colorado or reciprocating state)
  • Must be able to pass drug test
  • Must be able to work 45-55 hours per week
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • 5+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Basic hand tools for apprentices, hand, and power tools for the journeyman level.
  • Experience operating power tools
  • Reliable transportation
