Job Summary
Under the general direction, of the Transportation Supervisor, and with direction
from the School Bus Driver Instructor/Trainer, the Vehicle/ Van Driver operates a school vehicle or van over designated routes for the purpose of transporting students to and from assigned District school and program sites. This job class is responsible for the safe transport of students to and from assigned school and program sites and for supervising the behavior of students while in a District transport vehicle.
