As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in the mechanical aerospace component design market space, ensuring quality and compliance through detailed review and inspection processes.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the manufacturing quality and process integrity of aerospace components by reviewing engineering drawings, certifications, and process documentation to support FAIR submissions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review engineering drawings and bubble for inspection of hardware
  • Review certifications for incoming material for FAIR submission
  • Populate FAIR paperwork and submit
  • Input inspection data into FAIR submission
  • Review Process Map, PFMEA, Control Plan, Measurement Systems Analysis, and Process Capability Studies for FAIR

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Product knowledge in valves, pumps, actuators, and environmental control systems
  • Ability to read engineering mechanical drawings and assess for manufacturing capability
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project
WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM disciplines
  • Position requires manufacturing and supplier factory floor exposure requiring safety shoes and glasses
  • Excellent communication skills including oral, written, and presentation
  • Green Belt, DFSS, Black Belt, Lean, or HOS certification; demonstrated ability in using Six Sigma tools
  • Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA/MSA and other APQP elements
  • Knowledge of SAP, Teamcenter, and other data system applications
