Job description

Overview

We're looking for a proactive, floor-present Manufacturing Engineer to help bring order to complexity across a high-variation truck body manufacturing operation. With a wide variety of customer specs and semi-custom product lines, this role is all about solving for variability, stabilizing production, and building standardized processes that actually work on the floor.

You'll partner directly with welders, fabricators, assemblers, painters, and supervisors to streamline flow, write clear SOPs, and resolve production issues in real-time. From fabrication to paint to final assembly, you'll have a hand in every department and the autonomy to drive meaningful change across the shop. This is one of just two Manufacturing Engineers onsite, which means real opportunity, and real responsibility, for someone who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments.

If you're ready to take ownership of the entire production process and you want to see your impact ripple across the entire facility, this is a high-impact role with room to grow.

  • Fixture & Tooling Evaluation: Support selection, specification, and procurement of tooling and equipment in partnership with vendors and internal stakeholders.
