We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bakery Associate to join our Petaluma production team. This role involves supporting daily bakery operations, including preparation, baking, packaging, and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities
- Rotate through several tasks in a production environment, including sheeting, cutting, and baking products while adhering to food safety and quality procedures.
- Plan and organize the daily packing schedule and monitor the storage of packing materials.
- Complete packing department logs daily, including verification signatures.
- Prepare and bake products according to recipes and standards.
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with shaping, proofing, and baking bread and pastries.
- Package finished goods for distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor product quality and consistency.
- Support inventory and ingredient restocking.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Previous bakery, food production, or kitchen experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment
Work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to flour, heat, and bakery equipment. The role requires standing, bending, and repetitive motions. Regularly scheduled hours for Production Technicians are from 9PM to 5:30AM, and for Packaging Technicians, from 10:30PM to 6AM, Monday through Friday. All second shift positions receive an extra $1/hour in addition to the base rate.
