Bracewell LLP, a leading global law firm, is pleased to announce its search for a Director of Business Operations within the Finance & Accounting function of a high performing firm.
Bracewell is seeking a people-centered operational leader who strengthens the firm's revenue by supporting legal and industry practice groups through the full revenue management lifecycle, including intake, pricing, and billing and collections, with clarity and communication.
The Director will partner closely with finance, accounting and practice leaders to shape fee models, improve margins, and cultivate results-oriented processes. They coach and develop managers across billing and collections, revenue, and pricing, to create operating rhythms to elevate performances.
The role in action:
  • Run and elevate core business operations
  • Coach and develop team managers, while ensuring quality operations
  • Lead pricing strategy and margin management
  • Drive continuous optimization and profits across practices
  • Transform reports into actionable solutions

We are seeking candidates who:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field strongly preferred; MBA and/or CPA Preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple functional teams
  • Able to develop innovative solutions that maximize productivity and profitability
  • Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proven working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, with a data-to-action mindset that includes leveraging dashboards, translating insights into decisions, and driving measurable outcomes.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
  • Experience with Elite 3E, Foundation Scoping, ARCS, IntApp Time, Cosine, Ideate data cubes is a plus
