Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical exams and medical history analysis
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Engage collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement customized surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument exchange during procedures
• Deliver top-notch pre-and post-operative care, such as medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices

Necessary Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
