Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior React Native Developer (Crypto-wallet) based in Netherlands.

This role sits at the intersection of mobile engineering, fintech innovation, and blockchain technology, focused on building and evolving a high-performance non-custodial crypto wallet.
You will take ownership of core user-facing features such as sending and receiving assets, transaction history, swaps, bridges, and on-ramp flows.
The role also extends into advanced financial capabilities, including crypto cards, IBAN-based payments, subscriptions, and multi-provider integrations across different geographies.
You will work in a fast-moving, product-driven environment where engineering decisions directly impact real user funds and global financial interactions.
Ownership is end-to-end, covering architecture, development, testing, production monitoring, and continuous improvement based on real user feedback.
You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams in a highly autonomous, international setting.
This is a high-impact role for engineers who thrive in complex systems and want to shape the future of decentralized finance.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and evolve core features of a non-custodial crypto wallet, including transactions, balances, swaps, bridges, onboarding flows, and transaction history.
  • Lead the development of advanced financial products such as crypto cards, IBAN payments, subscriptions, and integrations with global card providers.
  • Drive end-to-end feature delivery from architecture and implementation to testing, production monitoring, and iterative improvements based on user feedback.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define user experience, clarify requirements, and co-create impactful fintech solutions.
  • Work closely with Backend and QA engineers to ensure high-quality releases, robust testing coverage, and well-documented systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems and ensure reliability of financial operations.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, internal guides, and occasional product demonstrations for cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of frontend development experience, including at least 3+ years building React Native applications in production environments.
  • Proven experience working on high-load fintech or crypto applications, ideally non-custodial wallets handling real user transactions.
  • Strong expertise in React, React Native, and TypeScript, with solid testing practices using Jest and Detox.
  • Experience with modern mobile ecosystems including Expo modules and React Native tooling.
  • Familiarity with blockchain ecosystems, including EVM-compatible chains, Bitcoin-family networks, Tron, Solana, or TON.
  • Strong understanding of secure software development, especially in environments involving financial transactions.
  • Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions for production deployments.
  • Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and make data-driven architectural decisions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional, product-driven teams.
  • Comfortable working in an autonomous environment with end-to-end ownership.
  • Nice to have: experience with WalletConnect, Reanimated, Skia, Sentry, Firebase, or similar tooling.
  • Strong interest in AI-assisted development and automation to improve engineering productivity.
  • Upper-intermediate English proficiency (Russian fluency is a plus).

Benefits:

  • Fully remote work in an international, agile team shaping the future of decentralized finance
  • Competitive salary based on experience and performance
  • High ownership and autonomy over technical and product decisions
  • Strong engineering culture focused on modern tools and continuous innovation
  • Career growth opportunities in a fast-scaling fintech environment
  • Transparent feedback culture with clear impact visibility
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge blockchain and crypto wallet technologies
  • Collaborative environment with product influence at the engineering level
