Advanced Trainee - Public Health Medicine
Western NSW Local Health District
The position offers twelve months accredited regional Public Health Medicine Advance Trainee experience. The primary purpose of the role is to provide effective public health services to the population of the Western NSW Local Health District under supervision, while developing expertise in public health practice. The Advanced Trainee will have a supervisor who is a Specialist in Public Health Medicine.

Essential Requirements:

Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role.
Master of Public Health or equivalent degree.
Have received written confirmation from the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine of eligibility to commence Advanced Public Health Training.
Demonstrated interest or experience in public and population health.
Evidence of high level written and verbal communication skills with a variety of audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
Evidence of high-level computer literacy skills, including advanced word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other software.
