Job description

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices and the ability to communicate financial information clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for management decision-making.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
