Job description

The Cambria Hotel Milwaukee Downtown is located in theWestown neighborhood near Historic Third Ward. This central downtown locationputs you within walking distance of some of the city's best shopping, diningand entertainment, including the foodie-favorite Milwaukee Public Market andthe scenic Milwaukee River-where you can board one of the Milwaukee Boat Linesightseeing tours.

We're hiring a PM Shift Food Service Attendant. In this roleyou will wear many hats including server, cook and bartending. This is ageneral support role for our restaurant during the dinner time slot.


Cooks work in the back-of-the-house to prepare meals according to recipes andhealth standards.

  • Food Preparation: Cooking and plating food items, assembling ingredients, and managing food temperatures.
  • Sanitation & Safety: Cleaning workstations, equipment, and adhering to food safety guidelines (e.g., labeling and storing food).
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory, replenishing products, and stocking
  • Collaboration: Working with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth, efficient workflow.


Server will work in the front-of-the-house to ensure an excellent diningexperience.

  • Guest Service: Greeting customers, taking food and beverage orders, and addressing issues
  • Order Management: Using POS systems to relay orders to the kitchen and communicating menu changes or specials.
  • Service Delivery: Delivering food, refilling drinks, and managing table turnover.
  • Table Maintenance: Cleaning, clearing, and resetting table
  • Payments: Presenting checks and processing payments, as shown on

Bartender will work behind the bar preparing drinks forguests.

  • Drink Preparation: Mixing cocktails, pouring wine, and drafting beers according to recipes or customer preferences.
  • Customer Service: Greeting patrons, taking orders, making recommendations, and resolving complaints.
  • Bar Maintenance: Keeping the bar,, tools, and glassware clean, sanitized, and organized.
  • Inventory Management: Restocking ice, garnishes, and liquor throughout the shift and assisting with inventory checks.
  • Compliance: Checking identification (IDs) to ensure legal drinking age and monitoring for over-intoxication.
  • Cash Handling: Processing payments via POS systems and managing tabs
