Are you a skilled and enthusiastic landscaping professional seeking a stable and rewarding career opportunity? Piscataqua Landscaping & Tree Service is currently looking to hire a Mow Crew Supervisor. In this role, you will be an integral part of our leadership team while performing and overseeing a variety of mowing activities. During the winter, you will work as a leader in our snow division with responsibility for one or multiple customers' sites. This is a full-time position with overtime offered whenever available. 


Requirements

  • Mow lawns evenly maintaining "clean, straight" lines and removing all lawn clippings when necessary
  • Ensure all beds, sidewalks, and parking lots are free of any lawn and leaf debris
  • Offload any debris daily in the designated areas
  • Operate zero-turn lawnmowers
  • Operate weed whackers, backpack and wheel blowers, leaf vacuums
  • Provide crew members with on-site leadership, job instruction, and ongoing coaching
  • Ensure work gets completed on time at or above customer expectations
  • Use a variety of equipment to perform mowing and snow removal tasks
  • Communicate effectively with operations management
  • Utilize company technology to ensure timely and accurate reporting of work
  • Ensure the productivity and professionalism of crew members
  • Ensure equipment and trucks are kept in good condition

Additional Requirements

  • Previous proven experience with landscaping work with a focus on mowing and trimming
  • Minimum 2 years' experience leading a crew
  • Reliable transportation to and from work daily (driver's license preferred)
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to guide and motivate a team
  • Proficient knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality workmanship
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn and grow
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
  • Willing to comply with background check and drug test
