Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

The Maintenance Electrician plays a crucial role in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and industrial equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. This position demands strong hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, controls, and motor applications.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair motor control circuits and electrical control wiring.
  • Replace breakers, fuses, contactors, switches, and wire motors as needed.
  • Diagnose and correct electrical shorts and faults to ensure safe operation.
  • Maintain and repair facility electrical systems and industrial machinery.
  • Service and troubleshoot motors, generators, transformers, and timing devices.
  • Wire and support control panels for new and existing equipment.
  • Install and maintain cabling, conduit, and electrical connections.
  • Work with industrial control systems including MCCs, MDPs, motor starters, and VFDs.
  • Support electrical systems tied to conveyor and production equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on both AC and DC motors and drives.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance techniques.
  • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of preventive maintenance.
  • Experience with industrial control systems and motor applications.
  • Ability to work with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
