Job description

Our Dallas area client company is searching for a Global Vice President of Information Technology to define and execute the enterprise IT vision, strategy, and roadmap; to oversee all global technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, cloud, workplace, and IT operations to ensure reliability, scalability, and security across the organization worldwide; to partner closely with executive leadership to drive digital transformation, optimize technology investments, and facilitate business growth through modern, secure, and efficient IT capabilities; to partner with Legal, Finance, and Compliance on regulatory and customer security requirements; and to provide strategic leadership for infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, data center operations, cybersecurity, service delivery, end-user computing, and vendor management while building a high performing global IT organization that supports both current and future business needs.

To be considered, candidates MUST have: a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (an MBA or MIS is strongly preferred); 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with a minimum of 7 years in a Director, VP or CIO IT role; experience leading enterprise applications and ERP environments using Infor LN, Infor Syteline, or similar platforms across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and finance industries; experience leading CRM platforms such as Salesforce to support global sales and commercial operations; experience with Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and enterprise identity platforms in a global environment; experience managing enterprise integrations across CRM, ERP, and core business systems; experience leading cybersecurity strategy, policies, controls, audits, operations, incident response, vulnerability management, IAM, and continuous improvement aligned with compliance and risk governance requirements to protect systems, data, and intellectual property; experience building enterprise data, BI, and governance capabilities; and proven success leading global teams, managing IT budgets, investments, and cost optimization efforts; and partnering with executive leadership and business leaders on technology risks, priorities, and transformation opportunities to align IT with strategic and operational goals.

The successful candidate will further be able to improve standardization, visibility, scalability, and compliance across core business systems; successfully oversee application roadmaps, upgrades, vendors, and technical debt reduction; drive infrastructure modernization to improve resilience, scalability, disaster recovery, and cost efficiency; have experience operating and/or transforming multi-ERP environments across regions; be able to set the strategy for data governance, data quality, and analytics architecture;

Successfully establish IT governance, service management, and performance metrics; have experience introducing AI-enabled capabilities with strong governance, security, and responsible use; be able to drive AI, AI Acceleration, enterprise data, analytics, reporting, and automation initiatives that improve forecasting, operations, decision support, and productivity capabilities to support business and financial decision-making; be able to establish governance for responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI and data.

Although not required, security certifications such as CISSP or CISM or equivalent experience are a “plus.”
