Job description

Job Title: Associate Scientist Location: Princeton, NJ Type: Contract Compensation: $23.00-$27.00

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics lab duties, assist in processing and characterizing clinical urine samples.
  • Perform functionality testing on devices and support group scientists with device assembly and testing.
  • Prepare urine standards and buffer solutions, monitor laboratory equipment, and record data accurately.
Requirements
  • BS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or relevant scientific field with 0-1 years of laboratory experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; undergraduate research, internships, or co-ops considered.
  • Experience handling biological samples (blood, urine) preferred.
  • Basic lab technical skills (pH, pipetting, etc.) required.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and adhere to good laboratory and documentation practices.
