System Administrator/Application Developer
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator/Application Developer. This person will be the primary Help Desk Technician that will provide technical support to our staff and administer key server systems to ensure availability. In this role, you will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, assist end-users with technology challenges, and maintain IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will also develop reports and perform application development. This person is organized, customer-focused, and able to work independently while collaborating with the IT team to implement solutions, improve processes, and contribute to IT projects. The primary role for this position is System Administration with an approximate 80% - 20% split.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as the primary contact for all end-user help desk support issues
  • Install and configure new PC’s, Raspberry Pi’s and printers
  • Create user accounts and manage network access
  • Perform management and maintenance to Microsoft 365 environment
  • Manage Active Directory and network infrastructure
  • Monitor and maintain cybersecurity solutions
  • Verify backup strategies and restore data as needed
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence reports using our BI tools
  • Implement ERP customizations and enhancements to support business processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Three to five years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of two years of hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Working Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Strong understanding of Windows desktop and Server operating systems
  • Familiarity with virtual server environments
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Report writing experience using a BI tool
  • Experience with SQL, C# or similar language
  • Experience working with Infor SyteLine ERP system or similar is a plus

  • May manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond to frequent interruptions
  • Occasional odd hours or overtime may be required for maintenance, outages, or deadlines
