UFC Gym is looking for an energetic, passionate, and engaging Cycle Instructor to join our coaching team. We are seeking someone who can create an unforgettable class experience, motivate members of all fitness levels, and help build a strong community within our group fitness department.

Position Summary
The Cycle Instructor is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and motivating indoor cycling classes while creating an exceptional member experience. This role goes beyond simply teaching a workout—you are responsible for building relationships, increasing member engagement, and helping members stay consistent with their fitness journey.
Responsibilities
Coaching & Class Delivery
  • Lead high-energy indoor cycling classes for all fitness levels
  • Create motivating playlists and class experiences
  • Deliver safe and effective coaching cues
  • Demonstrate proper bike setup and riding technique
  • Provide modifications and progressions as needed
  • Arrive early and stay after class to connect with members
Member Experience
  • Welcome members before class and learn their names
  • Build relationships that encourage retention and consistency
  • Create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment
  • Recognize member milestones and achievements
  • Foster community inside and outside of class
Team Engagement
  • Attend staff meetings and continuing education opportunities
  • Collaborate with the fitness team on events and promotions
  • Support gym initiatives, challenges, and member engagement activities
  • Maintain professionalism and represent the UFC Gym brand
Qualifications
Required
  • Nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc.)
  • CPR/AED Certification
  • Previous group fitness or cycle instruction experience preferred
  • Strong communication and coaching skills
  • Positive attitude and high energy
Preferred
  • Indoor Cycling Certification
  • Experience coaching large group classes
  • Social media and community engagement experience
  • Ability to assist with member retention and gym events
