Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Architectural Visualization and BIM Specialist professional to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in shaping how projects are planned, coordinated, and built.

Requirements
Responsibilities
This role will support DynaDome's sales and business development efforts by producing high-quality 3D models, renderings, and visual deliverables that help convert opportunities. This is an internal role focused on pre-sale visualization and the development of modeling standards that scale across opportunities.

3D Modeling & Visualization

  • Develop accurate, visually compelling 3D models in Revit, 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Rhino to support active sales opportunities.

  • Produce photo-realistic renderings, walkthroughs, and presentation visuals using V-Ray, Lumion, or comparable rendering tools.

  • Iterate on models and visuals quickly in response to sales team feedback, prospect questions, and evolving opportunity requirements.

  • Translate conceptual sketches, site information, and sales inputs into clear, dimensionally accurate representations of proposed DynaDome solutions.

  • Prepare visual assets formatted for proposals, client presentations, and internal review meetings.

Sales Support & Internal Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the sales team to understand opportunity context, prospect requirements, and the visual story each deal needs.

  • Prioritize and manage a pipeline of modeling requests across multiple concurrent opportunities, balancing speed with quality.

  • Participate in internal pursuit meetings and design reviews; contribute ideas on how visuals can strengthen the sales narrative.

  • Coordinate with engineering, estimating, and project teams as needed to ensure models reflect feasible, in-scope solutions.

Knowledge Base & Modeling Standards

  • Build and maintain DynaDome's internal modeling knowledge base, capturing the standards that drive consistent, accurate sales models.

  • Develop and maintain a library of reusable families, components, blocks, and rendering assets/materials to accelerate future modeling work.

  • Establish file organization, naming conventions, and template files so models remain consistent across team members and over time.

  • Evaluate new tools, plugins, and rendering workflows that could improve speed or visual quality of sales deliverables.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent education through an accredited program, technical institute, or architectural apprenticeship.

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in 3D modeling and visualization within an AEC, architectural visualization, or design-build environment.

  • Proficiency in Revit and at least two of the following: 3ds Max, SketchUp, Rhino or similar.

  • Strong portfolio showing a range of architectural visualizations — exterior, interior, and contextual renderings.

  • Working knowledge of construction terminology, standard dimensions, and how buildings and structural assemblies go together.

  • Experience building and managing reusable content libraries (families, components, materials, templates).

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests and shifting priorities.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting a sales, business development, or pre-construction team in a fast-turnaround environment.

  • Background in custom architectural products, building envelopes, glazing systems, or specialty structures.

  • Experience developing and documenting modeling standards or BIM/CAD content libraries for an organization.

Benefits
  • Comprehensive insurance package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Short-term disability and accident coverage fully paid by the company
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Free membership to an indoor golf simulator facility
  • Continuing education or training allowance as applicable
