GENERAL SUMMARY:
This role provides an opportunity to complete a structured training program while gaining hands-on, on-the-job experience to develop industry-specific knowledge and skills. Works under the supervision of a designated preceptor, mentor, or supervisor and participates in a formal learning pathway designed to prepare the individual for a career in the applicable field.
Responsible for actively engaging in educational activities, developing technical and professional competencies, and progressively applying learned skills in a supervised environment. This role functions under supervision and does not independently manage complex cases. Upon successful completion of the program and any required certification(s), the apprentice will be eligible for placement into a related position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalency required. Minimum of one (1) year of employment at Bryan Health required. Enrollment in an approved apprenticeship or training program required. Must remain in good standing in the training program and meet all progression requirements. Candidates must speak, read, and write in English.
OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Bryan Health recognizes American Heart Association (for healthcare professionals), American Red Cross (for healthcare professionals) and the Military Training Network.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
