What You'll Do

  • Recruit skilled manufacturing professionals including:
  • Welders
  • Fabricators
  • CNC Machinists
  • Laser Operators
  • Press Brake Operators
  • Maintenance Technicians
  • Production Supervisors
  • Manufacturing Engineers
  • Office and support personnel
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and community partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting plans.
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews.
  • Coordinate onsite interviews and manage the hiring process from application through onboarding.
  • Build relationships with technical colleges, apprenticeship programs, veterans' organizations, and workforce development groups.
  • Represent ACMF at job fairs, career events, and community recruiting activities.
  • Track recruiting metrics and continuously improve hiring processes.
  • Help strengthen our employment brand within Northeast Wisconsin.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing or skilled trades.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting welders, fabricators, machinists, production employees, or industrial professionals.
  • Strong interviewing and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and follow-through.
  • Ability to work closely with operations and production leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing, industrial, or construction recruiting experience.
  • Knowledge of skilled trades hiring.
  • Experience developing recruiting strategies and employer branding initiatives.
  • Experience with employee referral programs and workforce planning.
