**CONTRACT PENDING AWARD**
Network and Computer Systems Administrator - Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Duties and Responsibilities
* Monitors network to ensure network availability to all system users and performs necessary maintenance to support network availability
* Monitors and tests Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption
* Assists in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
* Supervises computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists
* Administers network security measures
* Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications* BA/BS degree (8+ additional years of experience in lieu of the degree is acceptable)
* CompTIA: Security+ CE
* Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with various operating systems (ex. Windows Server, Linux and Unix)
* Must have an understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall configurations
* Must have a familiarity with platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud to enable management of virtualized environments and cloud services
* Must be familiar with scripting and automation
* Must have hardware management skills
* Must be able to monitor and troubleshoot for rapid issue resolution
* Must be able to stay calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing environments
Physical Qualifications
* The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment
* Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
* Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time
* Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs. unassisted
