About the Company

Mainfreight Americas is seeking part-time employees for the afternoon shift at our Otay Mesa locations.

About the Role

We are looking for a Forklift Operator to support the loading and unloading of local box trucks and over-the-road consolidation shipments to our larger terminals. The standard shift is 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM, with slight variations based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload local and over-the-road trucks
• Assist local route drivers with offloading and cargo labeling
• Load outbound LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Maintain organized warehouse storage

Qualifications

• Prior experience handling LTL cargo required

Required Skills

• Forklift operation
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• Experience in warehouse operations
• Knowledge of cargo labeling and linehaul planning
