Job description

Manufacturing Regulatory Compliance Program Manager

This direct-hire role puts you at the center of Foxconn’s smart manufacturing operations, ensuring every process and product aligns with local, state, and federal requirements. You’ll bring together teams across engineering, operations, legal, and R&D while engaging with government agencies to keep our U.S. facilities fully compliant and future-ready.

A day in the role

Imagine starting your morning reviewing a regulatory update from the EPA, translating its impact for operations leadership, then walking the floor to validate an internal audit plan you designed. Midday, you host a training for cross-functional partners on EHS and quality systems. In the afternoon, you brief legal counsel on potential risk areas uncovered in a recent audit, finalize a corrective action plan, and prepare documentation for an upcoming inspection. Before you wrap, you submit a permit package and align with R&D to confirm a new product test protocol meets applicable standards.

What you’ll deliver
  • Enterprise-wide compliance programs that meet all applicable manufacturing regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
  • Planned and ad-hoc internal audits across departments to verify legal, environmental, and workplace safety adherence.
  • Primary liaison support between Foxconn and regulatory bodies, auditors, and government agencies, including required reporting.
  • Partnership with legal counsel and senior leadership to interpret and operationalize new or changing laws.
  • Risk assessments and mitigation strategies addressing legal and regulatory exposure.
  • Targeted guidance and training on EHS, labor, and quality management regulations for cross-functional teams.
  • Policies, procedures, and documentation that sustain ongoing compliance.
  • Investigations into potential violations and leadership of corrective action plans through closure.
  • Continuous monitoring of the regulatory landscape affecting Foxconn’s U.S. operations.
  • Collaboration with R&D and manufacturing to embed compliance into product development and production processes.
  • Preparation and submission of permits, reports, and required documentation to government entities.
  • Representation of Foxconn during inspections, reviews, and industry compliance forums.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Master’s in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a Juris Doctor (JD) required.
  • 5+ years in regulatory compliance, legal affairs, or manufacturing policy enforcement.
  • History of creating, leading, and executing internal audits and compliance assessments.
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOE, and federal manufacturing regulations.
  • Proven track record collaborating with government agencies, auditors, and regulatory boards.
  • Ability to build and manage compliance programs within a manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate legal/regulatory language into actionable guidance.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Skilled at cross-functional influence and change leadership.
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods.
Benefits and growth
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Employer-paid basic life insurance and short-term disability.
  • Optional supplemental life and long-term disability coverage.
  • 401(k) with employer contribution.
  • Paid time off: Personal, Vacation, and Holidays for full-time employees.
  • Onsite Aurora Health & Wellness Center.
  • Ongoing opportunities to learn and advance your career in smart manufacturing.
