Job description

About Scribe

We help companies send personalized handwritten direct mail at scale. Our robots write real pen-and-ink letters - indistinguishable from human handwriting - and you can even send them directly from your CRM. In a world of ignored emails and deleted texts, handwritten mail gets opened, read, and acted on.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our production team as a Handwriting Robot Technician. In this role, you will be at the heart of our unique "Scribe Nurture" process - where technology meets the personal touch of handwriting. You will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of a mail piece, from initial machine setup to the final stamped product.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Production: Master the full Scribe production process from A to Z to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and monitor our handwriting (HW) machines to maintain high-quality output.
  • Print & Finishing: Operate printing and cutting equipment to prepare cards for the handwriting robots.
  • Quality Control & Fulfillment: Use specialized inserting equipment to pair completed cards with envelopes while maintaining strict QC standards.
  • Final Preparation: Manage the final stages of the mail cycle, including stamping and addressing completed mail pieces for delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and showing up on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Communication: Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate progress or technical issues clearly.
  • Attention to Detail: A "sharp eye" for quality to ensure every mail piece meets our high standards.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic computer and printing knowledge is preferred but not required (we will train the right candidate!).

Why Join Us?

We are looking for builders and problem-solvers. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience with proprietary robotics and CRM-driven automation that you won't find anywhere else. If you’re looking to sharpen your expertise in specialized production and tech-enabled marketing, this is your chance to be a part of a company bridging the gap between the digital and physical worlds.
