We are currently hiring a full-time Deposit Operations Specialist.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and be a solid team player with experience in ACH, Wire, Mobile Banking and Remote Deposit Capture. Ideally someone with teller, electronic banking or personal banking preferred.

The Deposit Operations Specialist supports the Bank's efforts to be operationally sound and provide excellent service to customers and the front- line staff. The role performs a variety of operational functions related to cash management, item processing, operational maintenance, taking customer calls and providing internal support.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete Wires and assist with training internal staff on completing wires.
  • Complete Cash Management implementations and customer training on Cash Management products.
  • Review product enhancements and product bulletins from vendors.
  • Review and processes ACH and debit card disputes including, but not limited to, issuing provisional credit, sending customer letters, and contacting customers.
  • Assist with debit card maintenance, debit card compromises and debit card ordering.
  • Assist with answering phone calls into the Bank's primary customer support line, and provides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Assist with Item Processing review, issues, and customer notifications when necessary.
  • Respond to internal inquiries and provide data or documentation as needed.
  • Assist with projects and software or application upgrades when applicable.
  • Assist in training Bank staff on bank products and services.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; moderate computer skills; visual and auditory skills.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in banking preferred.
