Child Neurologist - Epileptologist
The Department of Neurology at the VCU Children’s Hospital of Richmond (CHoR) is seeking a BC/BE Child Neurologist with special interest and fellowship training in EEG/epilepsy and experience with Long Term Monitoring. Experience with intracranial monitoring for epilepsy preferred. The faculty member will also support the department with teaching responsibilities and participation in clinical research.
REQUIREMENTS:
Provide general inpatient and outpatient child neurology
Emphasis on clinical neurophysiology/epilepsy
Teach medical students, Neurology Residents and Neurophysiology Fellows
Develop interdisciplinary collaborations to enhance research program
Attend weekly Grand Rounds and lectures
QUALIFICATIONS:
BC/BE in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology
Fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology/EEG and/or Epilepsy
Experience with EEG, EMU, neurotelemetry and experience with intracranial monitoring preferred
