Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
Five to ten years’ experience in construction of residential and commercial properties
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture is highly desirable
Broad-based understanding of project management with strong planning skills
Experience in ground-up construction, tenant improvements, scheduling, and supervision of projects and on-site crew
Experience with scheduling program preferred
Strong leadership skills
Ability to work independently
Excellent personal client and team building skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of Timberline or Smartsheet software beneficial
Duties and Responsibilities:
Estimate, purchase, and schedule commercial and multi-family construction projects from conception to completion
Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs, and scheduling
Develop overall inspection procedures for commercial and multi-family properties
Manage and control project through direction of the on-site foremen to ensure quality control and job completion on schedule and within budget
Meet all project goals (i.e. change orders, critical path dates, punch list completion, and closing reports)
Maintain regular communication with senior management regarding project status
