General Psychiatrist/Medical Director for MO Opportunity #3009

Our client is in search of a General Psychiatrist to fill the Medical Director role for their current Psychiatrist who is retiring soon.

You will work in a newly renovated building which was completed about 2-3 years ago with large offices. They have three PMHNP's and who work with the consulting Psychiatrist.

They also have an adult day program here but prescribers are not involved with that.

The position will consist of:
o One hour initial evaluations 
o 15-20 minute med checks
o You will see on average 17-20 pts/day per prescriber
o No show seems to be about 30-40% based on the way they book appointments. Not using just in time appointments.

We offer:
o Excellent salary of $230-$240K base for 32 hours a week 
o If doctor works five days then more money.
o Great benefits plus a 5% contribution to retirement for doctor

There are now three PMHNP's which might go to five if state approves an increase. Right now idea is 8 hours admin and 24 hours seeing patients. This is a HPSA area and qualifies for national Student Loan repayment program.

Doctor would be a medical director and needs to be at least be Suboxone certified and a PMHNP could do any prescribing if he doesn't want to; don't feel there is a market for it here really but must provide it anyway.

Have provisional approval to become a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center under the federal program.

This position is specific for a Board Prepared or Board Certified Psychiatrist. Requirements then are that the successful candidate would have a degree as an M.D. or D.O. with proven residency training in Psychiatry.
